Today, Azerbaijan celebrate the 35^th anniversary of one of the most valuable events in its history: the restoration of its state independence. The Constitutional Act on the State Independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan, adopted on 18 October 1991, marked the beginning of a new chapter in the modern history of the country. Over the past decades, Azerbaijan has overcome complex challenges, strengthened its political, economic and military capabilities, fully restored its territorial integrity and state sovereignty and consolidated its position in the system of international relations.
