After concluding his visit to Azerbaijan, Academician Kenjehan Matijanov, Director of the Institute of Literature and Art named after M.O. Auezov, shared his impressions of the VIII International Scientific Symposium “From the Common Turkic Past to the Common Turkic Future”, held in Baku, on his social media account.

The distinguished scholar noted that the symposium was organized at a high academic level and highly praised the special attention given in Azerbaijan to the national spirit, the native language and cultural values. He also mentioned that the idea of unity across the Turkic world was growing stronger and expressed his confidence that the memorable experiences he gained in Baku would remain with him for a long time.
