“The Voice of the Folklorist”: Leyla Mammadova was a guest in the Latest Episode
The latest episode of “The Voice of the Folklorist” project has been released. The guest of the episode was Head of the Department of Folklore and Written Literature at the ANAS Institute of Folklore, Doctor of Sciences in Philology, Associate Professor Leyla Mammadova.
In her presentation Leyla Mammadova discussed the topic “The Dream Motif: Based on the Short Stories of Abdurrahim bey Hagverdiyev”. She mentioned that folklore had played a significant role in the formation of written literature and noted that Abdurrahim bey Hagverdiyev integrated folk beliefs and folklore motifs into his works as an inseparable component of artistic thought.
