A group of scientists and public figures who contributed to the development of Turkological science and the strengthening of scientific and cultural cooperation among the Turkic world within the framework of the international congress on “The First Turkological Congress: the scientific and cultural heritage of a hundred years” held in Baku were awarded with the commemorative medal “100^th anniversary of the First Turkological Congress (1926-2026)”.

Among those awarded was Doctor of Sciences in Philology, Director of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS Hikmat Guliyev. He was presented with a commemorative medal “100^th Anniversary of the First Turkological Congress (1926–2026)”.

It should be noted that the commemorative medal was presented with the aim of preserving the rich scientific heritage of the First Turkological Congress, appreciating the contributions made to the development of Turkological research and strengthening scientific and cultural ties among the Turkic world.
