On the 28^th of April 28 in 2026 Khuraman Dashdemir gizi Karimova, the leading researcher at the Department Dede Gorgud of the Institute of Folklore of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Philosophy in Philology, was awarded the scientific title of Associate Professor in the field of philological sciences 5719.01 - Folklore Studies, by the decision of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated April 17, 2026, for her scientific activity.

It should be noted that Kh. Karimova is the author of 2 monographs in her specialty, more than 40 scientific reports and articles.
