The next episode of the program “Ovgat” of Medeniyyet Channel is dedicated to Samad Vurgun’s activity, a prominent representative of Azerbaijani poetry. The program was hosted by the Institute of Folklore of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences Doctor of Philosophy in Philology, Associate Professor Ilhama Gasabova and Doctor of Philosophy in Philology, Associate Professor Atif Islamzade.

The program extensively discussed the main features of Samad Vurgun’s poetry, the artistic expression of patriotic ideas, human emotions, and national and spiritual values in his works. The guests mentioned that the poet’s rich literary heritage remains relevant today and has spiritual and aesthetic significance for different generations.
