Hikmet Guliyev, Director of the Institute of Folklore of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and Doctor of Sciences in Philology, met with Gokhan Seyhan, Head of the Baku Yunus Emre Institute.

During the meeting, Hikmet Guliyev provided detailed information about the scientific research conducted at the Institute of Folklore in the field of studying the folklore of Turkic peoples, as well as about published books and organized conferences.

At the same time, the meeting included an exchange of views on expanding scientific and cultural cooperation between the Baku Yunus Emre Institute and the Institute of Folklore, implementing joint projects and particularly organizing symposiums and conferences in the field of studying Turkic folklore.

Within the framework of the meeting, several publications of the Institute of Folklore were presented as the gift to the Baku Yunus Emre Institute.
