Folklorist’s voice: the first guest of the new edition was Rza Khalilov
A new video release project “Folklorist’s voice” has been launched at the Institute of Folklore of ANAS in order to bring scientific activities to a wider audience. Within the framework of the project the opinions and thoughts of folklore scholars on current topics are presented to the public. It should be noted that the video recordings are carried out by the Folklore Studio of the Folklore Institute.
The first guest of the edition was PhD in Philology, Associate Professor Rza Khalilov. In his speech he provided detailed information about the “Early Publications of Azerbaijani Folklore”, which hold an important place in the history of the study and publication of Azerbaijani folklore. The scientist noted that these publications are of particular importance in the collection, systematization and inclusion of folklore samples in scientific circulation. At the same time, these publications also serve as a valuable source in terms of the formation and monitoring of the stages of development of Azerbaijani folklore studies.
The main goal of the “Folklorist’s voice” publication is to promote our national and spiritual heritage on a scientific basis and to bring research conducted in the field of folklore to a wider audience.
It should be noted that the project also includes the participation of renowned scientists and researchers in future editions.
