Associate Professor Aynur Ibrahimova spoke at the international symposium
Leading researcher at the Institute of Folklore of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), Doctor of Philosophy in Philology, Associate Professor Aynur Aydıngizi Ibrahimova made a report at an international symposium held in Ankara.
The symposium was jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey, the Turkish History and Culture Foundation (TÜRKTAV), the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, and the Institute of Folklore of ANAS on the theme “100th Anniversary of the 1926 Baku Turkological Congress - Preparation for the Tomorrow of Turkology”.
Aynur Aydıngizi Ibrahimova delivered a report on “Veli Khuluflu’s folklore heritage and contributions to Turkology in the context of the First Turkological Congress”.
In the report the scientific activities of Veli Khuluflu were extensively analyzed, one of the prominent representatives of the Azerbaijani school of folklore studies and his work in the field of collecting, systematizing and scientific research of the folklore heritage of the Turkic peoples.
