The next trainings “Wikipedia” organized at the Central Scientific Library (CSL) of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) have concluded. Certificates were presented to the employees of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS who successfully completed the training by the Director of the Institute of Folklore, Doctor of Technical Sciences Huseyn Huseynov.  

Mentioning Wikipedia the important source of information in the modern era, Huseyn Huseynov noted the importance of enriching materials about Azerbaijan on this platform, congratulated the training participants and wished them success in their future activities. The trainings were conducted by Khayala Mammadli, chief specialist of the Electronic Resources Department of the CSL.

The employees of the Institute of Folklore who successfully completed the training - Doctor of Philosophy in Philology, Associate Professor Elnara Amirli, Doctor of Philosophy in Philology Sureyya Alizade, Vafa Salehova and Nigar Abdullayeva were awarded certificates from the Central Scientific Library.

It should be noted that the employees of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS, who were involved in the month-long training, acquired practical knowledge and skills in creating, editing, translating and posting articles in the virtual encyclopedia “Wikipedia” from other languages to Azerbaijani. More than 20 articles were created and edited during the training.
