Khazar University students’ research experiences continue successfully at the Institute of Folklore
Fourth-year students of the Faculty of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences of Khazar University, majoring in Philology (Azerbaijani language and literature), began their folklore research internship at the Institute of Folklore of ANAS within the fall semester of the 2025–2026 academic year.
The internship aims to enable students to apply the theoretical knowledge they have acquired during the educational process in the context of modern scientific approaches and to develop their research skills.
The students were met by the director of the Institute of folklore of ANAS, Doctor of Sciences in Philology, associate professor Hikmat Guliyev.
During the meeting, detailed information was given about the scientific-research works carried out at the Institute of Folklore, important achievements and periodicals. The presentations were also held on scientific monographs published in recent times and books consisting of newly collected folklore examples.
Within the framework of the event, the collection of folklore of interest to students, its study on the basis of academic principles and other topical topics were discussed.
It should be noted that the students’ research experience will be completed at the end of December.
