The director of the Institute of Folklore spoke at the presentation of the book “My Karabakh or the Karabakh knot”
A presentation ceremony of the book “My Karabakh or the Karabakh knot” by Hamlet Isakhanli was held at the Guba branch of the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University. The event was attended by representatives of the scientific and educational community, literary and cultural figures, participants of the Patriotic War and students. The event was organized within the framework of the 5th anniversary of the historic Victory achieved in the 44-day Patriotic War and was dedicated to discussing the realities of Karabakh in scientific, historical and spiritual aspects. Speaking at the event, Director of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS, Doctor of Sciences in Philology Hikmat Guliyev mentioned the historical and spiritual significance of the Great Victory achieved under the leadership of the victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev.
The scientist noted that the nowadays event was not only a book presentation, but also a discussion platform that served to strengthen cultural memory, national identity and social historical reflection in the post-Victory period. According to his thoughts “Great Return” involves not only a return to a physical place, but also a return to the ethno-cultural connection to that place - to memory, identity and values.
Then, speaking about the book “My Karabakh or the Karabakh Knot” by Professor Hamlet Isakhanli the reporter noted that the book was a valuable contribution dedicated to the analysis of the cultural, spiritual and intellectual aspects of the Great Return.
The scientist mentioned that in fact, the book was a presentation of the image of Karabakh formed in Azerbaijani literature, culture and folklore in the discourse “My Karabakh”. According to his thought, the study was also an expression of his intellectual position based on humanistic and humanitarian values.
