Sarkhan Khavari: “The 11th Baku International Book Fair strengthens the interaction among science, culture and literature”
The 11th Baku International Book Fair is considered an important event in the scientific and cultural life of Azerbaijan. The book is a carrier of human intelligence, knowledge and spirituality, a universal value that plays an important role in the development of humanity. Such exhibitions strengthen the interaction of science, culture and literature, serve to develop the intellectual potential of society and promote national and spiritual values. These thoughts were expressed by Sarkhan Khavari, Doctor of Sciences in Philology, Head of the Science and Education Department of the Presidium of ANAS, during his speech at the event “The Zangezurname of Academy: From Folklore Collections to Academic Researches” organized by ANAS within the framework of the 11th Baku International Book Fair.
Sarkhan Khavari noted that such international book fairs, in addition to demonstrating the scientific and cultural potential of Azerbaijan, make a significant contribution to the formation of an intellectual environment, the expansion of scientific exchange of ideas, and the development of book culture.
Sarkhan Khavari mentioned that the research conducted by various institutes of ANAS serves the development of the country’s science and the promotion of the scientific heritage of Azerbaijan at the international level.
At the end of his speech, he said that books were reliable documents that connected the past with the present and preserve our national memory. It is gratifying that ANAS is the main scientific organization in our country that plays a leading role in the creation and transmission of these valuable works to future generations. These books will serve to preserve our history, culture and scientific heritage, and will play the role of a spiritual heritage for future generations.
