The Institute of Folklore ANAS held the entrance exam for doctoral studies on specialty 5719.01 – 5 people and applicants on the specialty “Folklore Studies” took part in the exam.

It should be noted that according to the letter of the Presidium of ANAS the commission was established at the Institute of Folklore to conduct the entrance exam to the doctoral program on the preparation of the doctor of philosophy. Chairman of the Examination Commission was Director of the Institute of Folklore ANAS, Doctor of Science in Philology Hikmat Guliyev, the members were Executive Director of the Institute, PhD, associate professor Afag Ramazanova, Doctor of Sciences in Philology, Professor Seyfaddin Rzasoy, Doctor of Sciences in Philology, Professor Fuzuli Bayat, Doctor of Sciences in Philology, Professor Afzaladdin Asgar, Doctor of Sciences in Philology, Professor Ramazan Gafarli, PhD. Nizami Adishirinov.

Before the exam, the Chairman of the Commission, Doctor of Science in Philology Hikmat Guliyev gave information about the main activities, the achievements and the done work of the Institute of Folklore. The scientist noted that the main goal of the Institute, on the one hand, was the implementation of tasks arising from the cultural and spiritual development of the country, and on the other hand it was arising from the challenges of the modern world. In particular, the training of high-quality qualified personnel, the involvement of young people in the field of scientific activity is of great importance in achieving the goals set. In conclusion, the scientist wished success to each of the applicants in the exam.
