This issue was decided at the next meeting of the Presidium of ANAS.

Noting that President Ilham Aliyev signed a Decree dated February 3, 2025 on the celebration of the 140^th anniversary of the great composer, ANAS President Academician Isa Habibbeyli said that the ANAS Action Plan for the implementation of the said document had been approved.

He noted that the symposium, which would be held on September 25-26, within the framework of the implementation of the Action Plan, jointly organized by the Institute of Folklore of ANAS, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Turkish Culture and Heritage Foundation and the Azerbaijan National Conservatory, was an important step taken by Mr. President towards expanding relations with the Turkic world and would contribute to the development of the humanities and social sciences.

Then, the Director of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS, Doctor of Sciences in Philology, Associate Professor Hikmat Guliyev, made a speech and provided information about the symposium, mentioning that the event would feature reports from scholars and specialists in the fields of folklore, art, culture, and musicology from more than 10 countries around the world, including Turkic states and that the preparatory work had already been completed.
