Scientists of the Institute of Folklore took part in the discussion on monitoring and improvement of subject programs
The meeting was organized with the participation of interested parties in order to monitor and improve subject programs at the department of Azerbaijan and world literature of Baku Eurasian University. The meeting was attended by the teaching staff, students, graduates and employers.
At the meeting head of the department, associate professor Elmira Mammadova mentioned the importance of adapting subject programs to the requirements of modern times, applying innovative approaches in the educational process and training personnel in response to the labor market.
Employees of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS also participated in the event and made valuable scientific contributions to the meeting. Head of the department of Folklore and written literature, Doctor of Sciences in Philology Leyla Mammadova, leading researcher of the department of Mythology, PhD., associate professor Nail Gurbanov, leading researcher of the department of Folklore of Turkic peoples, PhD. Elnara Amirli made proposals on the content of subject programs, integration of new scientific approaches and inclusion of modern folklore examples in the teaching.
During the meeting the strengths and weaknesses of the programs were analyzed, directions for improvement were determined and future plans were discussed based on the recommendations of the participants.
The event was held in an atmosphere of fruitful exchange of views and ended in order to expand the possibilities of mutual scientific cooperation.
