Associate professor of the Institute of Folklore made a presentation of the documentary film “From castle to castle – Gadabay: land of historical monuments”
Presentation of the documentary film “From castle to castle – Gadabay: land of historical monuments” was held at the Heydar Aliyev Center of Gadabay district. The film was created on the initiative of the public union “Protection of health”, with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State Service for the Protection, Development and Restoration of Cultural Heritage.
Aynur Ibrahimova, associate professor of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS, made a speech on the theme “Gadabay folklore environment: ethnographic richness and national thought”.
In his speech, he spoke about the folklore memory of the region, mentioned that the traditions and ethnographic materials of Gadabay region are the important parts of the cultural heritage of Azerbaijan. She said that each of our monuments located on the territory of Gadabay had been an example of our statehood history and culture. Those monuments, which were the memory and relics of history, were examples of material culture and reflect the antiquity and richness of the history of those places. For this reason, their preservation and delivery to future generations was one of the most important issues.
By presenting the rich traditions, culture, folklore, historical monuments, in a word, national-cultural heritage of the region Gadabay, our rich heritage was further enriched and global development was ensured on this wealth.
