The staff of the Institute of Folklore participated and delivered speeches at the 4th Turkic World Literature and Book Festival.
Employees of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS such as the leading researcher of the Department of Mythology, PhD in Philology and Associate Professor Maleyka Mammadova and the leading researcher of the Department of Folklore and written literature, PhD in Philology and Associate Professor Aynur Ibrahimova made speeches at the 4th Turkic World Literature and Book Festival held in Baku from May 24 to 31, 2025.
Within the framework of the festival PhD Maleyka Mammadova presented her papers titled “Rites of Passage in Azerbaijani and Anatolian Folklore” at the “Turkic literature” panel and “Wedding traditions of Turkish Cypriots” at the “Northern Cyprus” panel. On the other hand, PhD Aynur Ibrahimova, made a presentation on “Azerbaijani-Uzbek Scientific and Cultural Relations” at the “Uzbekistan Literature” panel.
