On the 15^th of May the Republican Scientific Conference of Young Scientists and Researchers was held at the Central Scientific Library (CSL) on the theme “Our Signature in the Victory over Fascism” dedicated to the 80^th anniversary of the victory over fascism, jointly organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan and ANAS.

35 scientific reports were presented at the conference by young scientists and researchers studying at Bachelor’s, Master’s and doctoral levels from 11 higher education institutions of the country.

Nigar Abdullayeva, the employee of the department of Modern Folklore of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS, also attended the event. She gave a report on the theme “The Historical Role of Azerbaijanis in World War II”.
