On the 8^th-10^th of May in 2025 the International Symposium on the theme “Yavuz Sultan Selim: science, thought and art” was organized by the Faculty of Human and Society Sciences of Trabzon University. The symposium was attended by the head of the department of Modern folklore of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS, Doctor of Philology, Professor Fuzuli Bayat. The scientist made a report on the theme “The real causes of the Battle of Chaldiran” at the symposium.
