By the decision of the Scientific Council the Institute of Oriental Studies named after academician Z.Bunyadov ANAS the book “Comparative study of Turkic languages” has been published. Along with the Azerbaijani language, articles on the phonetic and lexical features of Turkmen, Gagauz, Kazakh, Karakalpak, Kyrgyz, Altai,Еtatar, Bashkir, Karachay-balkarian, Gumug, Uzbek, Uyghur, Chuvash, Yakut languages and dictionaries of these languages have been compiled. The book also contains the works by Azerbaijani women Turkologists.

The article named after “Nogai language” by the senior researcher of the department of Folklore of Turkic peoples of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS, PhD in Philology Gumru Shahriyar and the “Nogai-Azerbaijani dictionary” compiled by her are included in the book.
