The event dedicated to the 132^nd anniversary of the birth of Ashiq Shamshir was held in Natavan Hall of Azerbaijan Writers’ Union and Ashiq Shamshir" Cultural Center Public Union. Chairman of “Ashiq Shamshir” Cultural Center Public Union Javid Gurbanov, People’s poet Sabir Rustamkhanli, Jala Aliyeva, deputy chairman of Azerbaijan Writers’ Union, chairman of Press Council Rashad Majid, poet, researcher Adil Jamil and other intellectuals and scientists attended the event. The event was attended by Sabina Isayeva, a leading researcher of the Department Dede Gorgud of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS, PhD. in Philology as a researcher of Ashiq Shamshir’s heritage.
