The employees of the department of Folklore of Turkic peoples of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS PhD. Gumru Shahriyar and PhD.Elnara Amirli made an online report at the International Conference “Kazakh language in the communicative culture system: theory and practice” held on the 20^th March in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The conference dedicated to the 95^th anniversary of the birth of an outstanding scientist, Doctor of Philology, Professor Amir Rakish Satovich and held in a hybrid format the report on the theme “The poetic formula features of the epos “Forty batyr” series by PhD.Gumru Shahriyar was heard. In the report it was said about the characteristic of the series of epics “Forty batyr” for the Kazakh literary environment, analyzed the series in syntagmatic, semantic and linguistic aspects and talked about how to use the means of expression in epics with rich poetic language. In the report on the theme “Textual features of mythological examples in Azerbaijani epic folklore” by PhD. E.Amirli underlined the necessity of dividing these examples into two groups as mythological stories and mythological memories based on the features of meeting with imaginary beings. It was mentioned that in the textual features of these examples were related to the narration of the narrator, the description of the imaginary being and the place where the event took place. The speaker noted that the textual features of mythological stories should be studied with a comprehensive review of genre features.
