The leading researcher of the department West Azerbaijan folklore of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS, PhD in Philology Aposh Valiyev shared his views about the last Tuesday of the winter with the press media AZERTAC.

The folklorist mentions that the last Tuesday among the people is also called “Ilakhir Chershenbe”, “Yer Chershenbesi” or “Torpag Chershenbesi”. The last Tuesday is the most valuable among Novruz Tuesdays. It is associated with the awakening of the Earth. The Earth has an extremely important position in this process, being the main material basis of human creation.
