The 86th issue of “Dede Gorgud” has been published
The 86th issue of the scientific and literary collection “Dede Gorgud” published by the decision of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS, has been published. The interesting scientific articles, new examples from Azerbaijani folklore, examples from Turkic peoples folklore and other articles are reflected in six rubrics in this issue of the journal published four times a year under the editorship of Doctor of Philology, Professor Ramazan Gafarli.
In the “Gorgud Studies: Searches, Discoveries” the articles such as “Turkic Ethno-Cultural Reality in the Oghuznames of “The Book of Dede Gorgud” and “Oghuz Khagan” by Professor Ramazan Gafarli and Aysel Hasanova, “The Concept of Morality in the Epic of “The Book of Dede Gorgud” and Its Pedagogical-Psychological Significance” by Professor Kamal Jamalov are given.
In the section “Folklore: problems, studies” the articles such as “Intellectual, national and literary awakening of Azerbaijan” by Professor Fikrat Turkman, “Modern urban folklore in a changing folklore paradigm” by Professor Fuzuli Bayat, “Comparative typology of Azerbaijani, Turkish and Uzbek proverbs with “Bahariya” motif” by associate professors Khankishi Mammadov and Khurshide Gadirova, “The founder of Goycha ashiq environment – Agh Ashiq” by Nazir Ahmadli, “The multifaceted expression of mythological images in Fuzuli’s ghazals” by PhD, associate professor Elchin Galiboglu, “A look at the poetry of Nabi Khazri through the prism of folklore” by PhD, associate professor Gulnar Osmanova, “Historical and cultural characteristics of the tribes that existed in Karabakh” by PhD, associate professor Sonmaz Abbasli, “The curses, beliefs and legends in Nizami Ganjavi’s activity” by PhD, associate professor Aposh Valiyev, “Poetic characteristics of Ashiq Saraf Gasim’s activity” by PhD Shahnabad Ismayil, “The function of paremiological units in the epic “Koroglu” by PhD, associate professor Chichek Efendiyeva, “The motif “durna” (crane) and the projection of a mathematical model in folklore and written literature” by PhD, associate professor Atif Islamzade and others are given.
It should be noted that articles in the scientific and literary collection “Dede Gorgud”, which is included in the “Index Copernicus” system, have been published with the DOI index since 2023.
