On the 28^th of January the leading researcher of the department of Folklore of Turkic peoples of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS, PhD in Philology, associate professor Laman Vagifgizi (Suleymanova) was the guest of the program “60 minutes” of Azerbaijan Radio.

It should be noted that the program, which is broadcast three times a week for an hour, provides information on various topical themes, composer and folk songs, as well as guests are invited.

In the current issue of the program, the ancient musical instruments were mentioned. Our employee L.Vagifgizi spoke about the musical instrument “dambur”, its features, rules of preparation, its performers and masters preparing it, and the relations with other instruments.

Another guest of the program, People’s Artist Munis Sharifov, spoke about the musical instrument “chagana”.
