On the 21st of November in 2024 the 5th International Turkic World Congress of Educational Sciences and Social Sciences was in Antalya, Turkey by the Union of Educational and Scientific Organizations of this country and the International Eurasian Union of Educational Unions. The purpose of the Congress, organized on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the death of the famous Turkish scientist Ziya Gokalp, is to contribute to the development of the region by bringing together the common values and scientific potential of the Turkic world. Many new scientific researches and projects were discussed at the event with the participation of thousands of scientists and educators.

The Congress is also important in terms of the fact that Ziya Gokalp aims to keep alive his ideals regarding the unity of the Turkic world and to be a source of inspiration for future generations. The reports of employees of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS were also heard at the International Congress.

The reports by some researchers such as “The role of reading materials in the development of speech ability” by Gumral Mirzayeva, “Fairy tale trasformations in the stories of the Independence period” by Gulnar Ismayilova, “Novruz traditions in the history of ancient Azerbaijan statehood” by PhD Sevinj Gasimova, “The rituals and methods of protection in Azerbaijani, Anatolian and Gagauzia culture” by PhD, associate professor Maleyka Mammadova were made.
