Leading researcher of the department Mythology of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS, PhD in philology, associate professor Elchin Galiboglu gave an interview to Medeniyyet TV on the theme “Human-nature relations in Azerbaijani folklore”. In the interview, it is mentioned that human is nature, nature is human. Human cannot live without nature, nature cannot live without human. In the initial mythological thinking, the views of godliness formed the attitude of the ancestor to the world, to life, to human, to nature. In our epics, the union of human-nature finds its expression in mature stature. Koroglu’s sword is made of a piece of lightning, his horses are from the sea horses. In Azerbaijani mughams, as well as in Azerbaijani ashiq art, the expression of the unity of human and nature is complete.
