The new book “The epic “Dede Gorgud. Book 2. The first restoration experience of the epic variant Alp Aruz” by the head of the department Mythology of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS, Doctor of Philology, Professor Seyfaddin Rzasoy has been published.

In the book it is said about the concept of “Alp Aruz variant” of the epic “Dede Gorgud”, the poetic structural and theoretical-methodological restoration of this variant, the restoration of “Alp Aruz variant” from the II and VIII parts of the epic “Dede Gorgud”. Under the conditional names of the parts such as “Alp Aruz variant”, “Alp Aruz passed Uruz through the ritual of exhibitionism//initiation and gave him a name”, “Looting Alp Aruz’s house”, “Opening Aruz’s blinded eyes”, “Resurrection of Seljik” the structure is being restored.

The editors of the book published in the publishing house “Science and education” are Professor Mehmet Acha, PhD., Associate professor Safa Garayev and PhD., Associate professor Hikmat Guliyev, reviewer-expert is Doctor of Science in Philology, Associate professor is Galib Sayilov.
