On the 27^th-29^th of June in 2024 the International Turkish Khan Shah Ismayil Khatayi Symposium was held at Erzinjan Binali Yildirim University with the joint organization of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey, Erzinjan Governorship, Ankara Haji Bayram Veli University and Erzinjan Binali Yildirim University. More than 70 scientists from Turkey, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Iran, Germany and other countries participated in the three-day symposium.

Head of the Department of Modern Folklore of ANAS Folklore Institute, Doctor of Philology, Professor Fuzuli Bayat also participated in the symposium. He made a report on the theme “The theme “Kizilbash” in the poems by Shah Ismayil Khatayi”. The scientist represented in the Scientific Committee of the Symposium also was a head of one of the section meetings.
