By the decision of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS the monographic book “Koroglu” researches in Azerbaijan: yesterday and today” by PhD, associate professor Aynur Ibrahimova was published. In the monographic book the history, organization and directions of development of Azerbaijani chorology were defined. Taking into account the works of Azerbaijani koroglu scholars as a single, interconnected, continuation of each other, the research aspects of the epic “Koroglu”, the evaluation of the used theory and scientific methods, the determination of the specific stages of Azerbaijani koroglu-studies determined by the historical conditions and the level of development of science, scientists and services of researchers in the development of this field, etc. the study of issues constitutes the main research directions of the monograph. Academician Mukhtar Kazimoglu-Imanov is the scientific editor of the book published by “Ganun” publishing house and academician Nizami Jafarov is the reviewer.
