On the 25^th of June 25 in 2024 the event dedicated to June 26 - Day of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held at the Folklore Institute of ANAS. Kamran Khalilov, a participant in the First Karabakh War, was invited to the event organized by the Women’s Organization of the Institute. The event was opened by Khayala Aghayeva, PhD in Philology, Chairman of the Women’s Organization. He noted that with the glorious Victory of the Azerbaijan Army in the Patriotic War under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, it was proved to the world that this Army, which has a glorious history of 106 years, is capable of fulfilling any mission assigned to it.

Then the report by Sevinj Huseynova, the chief specialist of the Department of Education of the Folklore Institute, was heard on the topic “Predecessors of the Special Forces, the Gorchus”.

Then the speech was given to Kamran Khalilov, a participant of the First Karabakh war, who participated in the event as a guest. He spoke about his war path and his impressions of the front. K.Khalilov thanked the organizers for being invited to such an event.

Later, head of the Institute’s Publishing Department, veteran of the First Karabakh War, retired colonel Mahir Javadov, leading researcher of the Department of Mythology, doctor of philosophy in philology, associate professor, veteran of the First Karabakh War Shakir Albaliyev spoke about the successes achieved in the field of army building, the 44-day Patriotic War They talked about the heroism of the sons of Azerbaijan.

At the end the chairman of the Women’s Organization, PhD Khayala Aghayeva thanked the participants of the event.
