Horse games are one of the important elements of the common cultural memory of the Turkic peoples. These games are not only a means of entertainment, but also examples of rich cultural heritage that reflect the ancient lifestyle, worldview, physical training system and ritual concepts of the Turkic peoples.

In an interview with AZERTAC, Doctor of Sciences in Philology, Associate Professor Agaverdi Khalil, Head of the Department of Ceremonial Folklore and National Culinary Traditions of the Institute of Folklore of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Azerbaijan, spoke about the important elements of horse games in the common cultural memory of the Turkic peoples.
