A scholarly article by Associate Professor Səfa Qarayev, Doctor of Sciences in Philology, Scientific Secretary of the Presidium of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) and leading researcher at the Institute of Folklore ANAS, entitled “The Tale of “Hunter Pirim”: A Metaphorical Representation of the Male “Secret Stereotype”, has been published on the DAHA.az.

In the article the folk tale Hunter Pirim through the perspectives of gender stereotypes and psycho-semantic analysis is studied. The author explores the metaphorical representation of male and female roles, as well as concepts such as keeping secrets, honor and collective consciousness in folklore texts, explaining their relationship to the socio-cultural perceptions of Azerbaijani society on a scholarly basis.
