Head of the Department of Ritual Folklore and National Culinary Tradition at the Institute of Folklore of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), Doctor of Sciences in Philology, Associate Professor Aghaverdi Khalilov gave an interview to “Yeni Sabah” discussing the mythological figure “Al Ana” which occupied an important place in the mythological worldview of Turkic peoples.

In the interview he explored the nature, origins and cultural significance of the character “Al Ana” within Turkic mythology and folklore traditions.
