I sincerely congratulate you on the occasion of the holy Eid al-Adha and wish each of you strong health, family happiness, prosperity, and new achievements in your scientific activities.

Eid al-Adha, one of the most cherished and spiritually rich holidays of the Islamic world, is a sacred occasion that calls people to mercy, kindness, unity, and solidarity. This remarkable day is honored in our society as a reflection of high moral qualities, humanism, and traditions of helping those in need.

For centuries, our people have remained faithful to their national, moral, and religious values, preserving and maintaining their customs and traditions throughout all historical periods. In Azerbaijan, strengthening the traditions of tolerance and multiculturalism, as well as preserving and developing our national and spiritual values, constitutes one of the main directions of state policy. Today, the celebration of religious holidays at a high level in our country is a vivid expression of our people’s spiritual unity and national solidarity.

The policy of preserving national and moral values established by National Leader Heydar Aliyev is being successfully continued today by President Ilham Aliyev, while the atmosphere of tolerance and mutual respect in our country is becoming even stronger. Unique projects in this direction are also being implemented by the First Vice-President of Azerbaijan and President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Mehriban Aliyeva.

The staff of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences also carries out important work in researching, promoting, and transmitting our people’s rich spiritual heritage, national values, and culture to future generations.
