The scientists of the Institute of Folklore spoke at the International Symposium “Azerbaijan of the New Era”

During the 7th-8th of May in 2026 the XVII International Scientific Conference on the theme “Azerbaijan of the New Era” was held at Baku Slavic University, dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of the birth of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev.

Within the framework of the theme “Azerbaijan of the New Era” the political and ideological foundations of modern Azerbaijani statehood, the statehood legacy of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, the national identity model, the philosophy of sovereignty and development strategies, as well as methodological innovations and integration models in the humanitarian and social sciences were discussed.

Employees of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS also actively participated in the conference and made a presentation.
