I would like to sincerely congratulate the staff of the National Academy of Sciences and the scientific community of our country on the occasion of the scientific holiday of scientists, March 27, Science Day.

Science is one of the main driving forces of intellectual development, cultural advancement and spiritual evolution of society. The Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and our scientists have played an important role in the formation and development of the scientific potential of our country for many years, in the comprehensive progress of our independent state and in the upbringing and training of new scientific generations.

Today the multifaceted scientific activity of scientists, their innovative approaches and their creative use of world experience to serve the cultural and technical advancement of our country determine the leading directions of the activities of Academy.

The participation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev at the 80^th anniversary meeting of ANAS and his profound programmatic speech set new tasks for us regarding the development of science in the new historical period. Now our scientific teams are working confidently to implement new and important tasks related to the application of artificial intelligence technologies to various fields of science.
