Our employee made a speech at the presentation of the book “COP 29: Global and national challenges, tasks of science”
Leading researcher of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS, PhD in Philology, associate professor Elchin Galiboglu made a speech at the presentation of the book “COP 29: Global and national challenges, tasks of science” held in the main building of ANAS. He spoke about human-nature relations in Azerbaijani folklore: “The ancient feeling of our people towards nature is still alive and well today. As calls for the protection of nature increase in the world today, so does the hope that humans will rectify this deplorable situation. A natural, creative approach to nature, as in previous eras, must be developed within human. Azerbaijani people can be an example to the world by creatively developing the approach to nature inherited from their ancestors. This is our moral duty. Also, in our country, where the forest fund and the possibility of drinking water are scarce, our spiritual approach to nature should be considered natural. In the globalizing world, the solution of difficult concerns is on the rise”. E.Galiboglu mentioned that in the initial mythological thinking, the views about Gods formed the ancestor’s approach to the world, life, man, nature.
