The book by the employee of the Institute of Folklore has been published
The book “Mirza Ibrahimov’s literary and critical views” by Vusala Nasibova, PhD in Philology, senior researcher of the department Mythology of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS, has been published.
The book is devoted to the study of literary and critical views of Mirza Ibrahimov, a writer, playwright, publicist, literary critic, translator and political figure, one of the prominent representatives of Azerbaijani literature and literary and critical thought of the 20th century.
In the book Mirza Ibrahimov’s literary and critical views is studied in three aspects: Mirza Ibrahimov as a critic of classical Azerbaijani literature; Mirza Ibrahimov as a researcher of the “Molla Nasreddin” literary school; Mirza Ibrahimov’s attitude to the modern literary process.
During his career, Mirza Ibrahimov worked on three fronts in the field of literature. The academician enriched our literature with literary works written by him, studied both classical Azerbaijani literature and oral folk art, tried to evaluate and influence the modern literary process during his lifetime. In the book Mirza Ibrahimov’s conclusions about the relationship of literature and life, reader and author relations, modern literary processes are widely analyzed, ideas and requirements for modern poetry, prose, dramaturgy, literary criticism are clarified.
The scientific editor of the 212-page book published in the publishing house “Science and education” is PhD in Philology, associate professor Afag Ramazanova and the reviewer is PhD in Philology, associate professor Shakir Albaliyev.
