The book “The epic “Dede Gorgud”. Book 3. The journey of a Shaman-Hero into the world of chaos” by the head of the department Mythology of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS, Doctor of Philology, Professor Seyfaddin Rzasoy. Book III. has been published. Professor Seyfaddin Rzasoy, one of the well-known figures of contemporary Azerbaijani folklore, is also known for his fundamental research on Gorgud-study. His monographs from the epic “Dede Gorgud” series “The Death and resurrection of the hero” as book I in 2022 and “The first restoration experience of the Alp Aruz version of the epic” as Book II in 2024 were published. The recently published monograph “The Journey of a Shaman-Hero into the world of Chaos” by the scientist is also a continuation – the 3^rd Book of the series “Epic of Dede Gorgud”.

It should be noted that the research was based on textual information, archetypes, formulas and schemes of cosmological thought were reconstructed on the basis of ritual-mythological information provided by the text.
