President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, Professor Aktoty Raimkulova met with the director of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS, PhD in Philology, associate professor Hikmat Guliyev.

At the meeting, the head of the foundation Aktoty Raimkulova spoke about the international projects and works carried out by the organization headed by her in the direction of protection, restoration and promotion of cultural values of the Turkic world. She noted that the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation and the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences have extensive cooperation and the Academy has great opportunities for scientific research of cultural values.

Then, within the framework of joint cooperation between the Institute of Folklore of ANAS and the foundation of Turkic culture and heritage, the participants talked about the work to be done in the direction of studying and promoting various aspects of the folklore of the Turkic peoples. In this direction, a number of scientific projects to be implemented jointly with the Institute of Folklore in 2025 were discussed.

Director of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS PhD. in Philology, Associate Professor Hikmat Guliyev noted that one of the important directions of reforms carried out under the leadership of Academician Isa Habibbayli in recent years in ANAS was the expansion of scientific, cultural and spiritual relations with Turkic peoples and joint research of common values. He mentioned that the work carried out in ANAS in this direction also made important tasks with the help of the Institute of Folklore.

At the meeting, the conversation was held on the issues of mutual cooperation in the field of scientific research on various directions of the folklore of Turkic peoples and the appropriate agreement was reached.
