The scientist of the Institute of Folklore made a report at the International Congress in Kazakhstan

On the 10th of December in 2024 the international congress on the theme “Humanitarian Science in the context of Culture: civilizations, globalization: language, ethnos, society” was held in the Al-Farabi Library in Almaty, Kazakhstan, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the well-known turkologist-linguist, Doctor of Sciences in Philology, professor Abdulali Tuganbay Kaydar.

Leading researcher of the department Mythology of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS, PhD in Philology, associate professor Shakir Albaliyev made the online report on “The awakening holiday of nature – Novruz” at the Congress held in hybrid format.

The report provides a detailed explanation of the Novruz holiday, a symbol of one of the four natural seasons that embody the concept of the year, and examines the reasons why people celebrate Novruz in the image of spring, the harmony of people with the seasons of nature, the norms and rules of life, and how people encode themselves in an optimistic mood in the image of spring, the season of greenery and awakening.

It should be noted that the Congress, which is attended by scientists from Turkey, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Tatarstan, Belgium and other countries, is planned to publish reports.
