President of ANAS met with the scientists who defended doctoral dissertation up to 40 years

President of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Academician Isa Habibbeyli, met with the Academician-Secretary of the Presidium of the ANAS and the Scientific Secretaries of the Vice-Presidential Services, Doctor of Philosophy in Philology, Associate Professor Safa Garayev and Doctor of Philosophy in Philology, Associate Professor Hikmat Guliyev, on the occasion of their successful defense of their Doctor of Sciences dissertations. It should be noted that Associate Professors S.Garayev and H.Guliyev are also leading scientific workers of the ANAS Institute of Folklore.

During the meeting, academician Isa Habibbayli spoke about the reforms, renewal and development processes carried out in all areas of the National Academy of Sciences in recent years, in particular, the work done in the field of training young scientists and specialists as highly qualified personnel and stressed the importance of mobilizing young personnel to achieve the new goals.

Then academician Isa Habibbayli congratulated both young scientists on the successful defense of the dissertations of the Doctor of Philology, noted the importance of studying folklore in the socio-anthropological, psychological context and researching the knowledge of the people occurring in the modern techno-culturological environment in accordance with their dissertation topics.

The head of ANAS once again mentioned that the purposeful work carried out at the Academy in the field of training highly qualified personnel in recent years in connection with the defense of the dissertation of the Doctor of Sciences up to 40 years has yielded real results.

 

The meeting was also attended by the head of the Department of Science and Education of the Presidium of ANAS, Doctor of Sciences in Philology Sarkhan Khavari and the head of the Department of Public Relations, Press and Information, PhD in Philology Agahuseyn Shukurov.
