On the 15^th of October department of Languages and literature of Khazar University hosted a roundtable dedicated to the “Year of solidarity for the Green world” and COP29. The event was attended by Khazar University teachers, bachelor and graduate students. Opening the event, head of the department of Languages and literature, PhD in Philology, associate professor Dilbar Zeynalova spoke about the importance of declaring 2024 the “Year of solidarity for the green world” by the relevant Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and holding COP29 in our country. He mentioned that the above-mentioned issues set important tasks for all areas, including the Humanities and Social Sciences.

Then, the leading researcher of the department of Folklore theory of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS, PhD in Philology, associate professor Hikmat Guliyev made a speech on “Folkloric thinking and ecological discourse”.

At the end of the event H.Guliyev was awarded a certificate from Khazar University.
