The book “Garachanta” by Tajir Samimi (Gurbanov), a leading researcher of the department of Ashiq creativity of the Institute of Folklore ANAS, PhD in Philology, associate professor, has been published.

In the book it is said about the history and ethnography of the village Garachanta of the district Amasiya of the Western Azerbaijan, includes folklore samples of the region. The editor of the book is professor Ramiz Askar, the reviewers are PhD., associate professor Sonmez Abbasli, chairman of the Kars Culture and Art Association Vedat Akchayoz, and Afag Mustafayeva, an employee of the Institute of Folklore ANAS.
