On the 29^th of May in 2024 the next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Folklore ANAS was held. The director of the Institute, academician Mukhtar Kazimoglu-Imanov, opened the meeting and drew attention to the issues on the agenda.

The first item on the agenda of the meeting was about changing the composition of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Folklore ANAS. Scientific secretary of the Institute, PhD., associate professor Elchin Abbasov gave information about the mentioned issue. PhD., associate professor Aynur Ibrahimova and PhD., associate professor Aziz Alakbarli were included in the Scientific Council of the Institute of Folklore.

Then the second issue on the agenda - the issue of preparing reports on scientific-research and scientific-organizational activities for the first half of 2024 was discussed. To solve the current issue the leadership of the institute gave tasks to the heads of departments.

Among the current issues the issue of petitioning, the senior researcher of the Institute of Folklore, PhD Shabnam Nizami gizi Mammadova for the title of associate professor by specialty was considered. The results of the secret voting were considered positive and it was decided that the claimant would receive the title of associate professor. As well as the issue of printing a number of books was discussed.

Then the deputy director of the institute for scientific affairs, PhD., associate professor Afag Ramazanova’s 50^th anniversary was celebrated.

The director of the Institute, academician Mukhtar Kazimoglu-Imanov said that Afag Ramazanova got the respect of the team with her effective scientific and social activities, management skills, responsible approach to her duties and sincere attitude towards her colleagues.

Speaking about the jubilee’s scientific creativity and high human qualities, the employees of the Institute sincerely congratulated Afag Ramazanova on her 50^th anniversary and wished her good health, family happiness and success.
