Project Coordinator of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation visited the Institute of Folklore

On the 16th of February Project Coordinator of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Narmina Khalilova visited the Institute of Folklore of ANAS. Noting that the main goal of her visit was to get acquainted with the activities of the Institute to study the cultural heritage of Karabakh, which is an integral part of Azerbaijan, the guest was interested in the work done in this direction. Director of the Institute, academician Mukhar Kazimoglu-Imanov said that the work on the rich spiritual heritage of Karabakh, which is an integral part of Azerbaijan, was carried out mainly in two directions. At the initial stage the collection materials were obtained from the mentioned region. Later, study and publication of the materials were carried out. M.Kazimoglu-Imanov said that in the future, the staff of the Institute was ready to work together with the Heydar Aliyev Foundation to collect and study Karabakh folklore. At the end of the meeting the memorial photos were taken, publications of the Institute on Karabakh folklore, as well as albums and discs were presented to the guest.
