The book “Word about the word” by academician Mukhtar Kazimoglu Imanov has been published. The book includes the scientific articles written by the scientist in recent years, interviews published in various media. Statehood thought and folklore, theoretical issues of modern folklore, actual problems of Azerbaijani language and literature, outstanding personalities of Azerbaijan and their scientific concepts, classical literary heritage, artistic translation, etc. articles on topics are for a wide audience of readers. The analysis by Mukhtar Kazimoglu-Imanov on the works of writers such as Nizami Ganjavi, Mirza Fatali Akhundov, Huseyn Javid, Jalil Mammadguluzade, Kamal Abdulla, theoretical views on the genre poetry of Azerbaijani folklore, the system of images and their archaic semantics reflect modern scientific approaches to our literature and folklore and attract attention to these issues as a new word. The compiler and editor of the book published by the decision of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS is PhD., associate professor Sonmez Abbasli.
