The book “Modern Azerbaijan folklore-study” by Seyfaddin Rzasoy has been published
The book “Modern Azerbaijan folklore-study” by Seyfaddin Rzasoy has been published in two volumes. The book consists of 308 pages and has been pubished in the publishing house “Elm ve tehsil”. The editor of the book is Professor Jalal Gasimov.
The book contains the author’s reports on the studies on art, text and environmental issues in modern Azerbaijani folklore-study. In addition, folklore reports which consist of articles written in books, combine several main features. First of all, all of these articles reflect the author’s consistent observations on Azerbaijani folklore in the period of independence. Secondly, not depending of what form (article or foreword) these reports were written, the books presented in them were evaluated in terms of the history and the present day of the problem they were devoted to. Thirdly, the author has also made his personal scientific views on the problems of the works presented in these reports. This, in turn, allowed combining the reports in a book as a single review system reflecting the modern development dynamics of Azerbaijani folklore.
It should be remembered that Seyfaddin Rzasoys book “Modern Azerbaijani folklore-study” was published in 2 volumes, volume I in 2013.
